It applies to merchants who sign up to use the Service ("Merchants") and, where relevant, to the end customers of Merchant storefronts. This policy covers the platform itself; it does not cover a Merchant's own published privacy policy for their individual store, which the Merchant is responsible for maintaining separately.

Account and merchant information. When you register for the Service, we collect information such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing details, and store configuration data.

Customer data stored via the platform. Merchants use the Service to store data about their own end customers — such as names, contact details, order history, and shipping addresses — in order to operate their storefronts. This data is controlled by the Merchant; we process it on the Merchant's behalf as a service provider.

Usage and analytics data. We automatically collect information about how the Service is used, including log data, device and browser information, IP addresses, and analytics events, to help us operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We use collected information to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service; process transactions and billing; authenticate accounts and prevent fraud or abuse; communicate with Merchants about their account, updates, or support requests; analyze usage trends to improve performance and features; and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell Merchant or end-customer personal information to third parties.

We share information with third parties only as necessary to operate the Service, or as required by law. This includes:

• Payment gateway providers — to process payments for Merchant subscriptions and to enable Merchants to accept payments from their own customers, the Service integrates with third-party payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, and Razorpay. These providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and terms.
• Service providers — vendors that support infrastructure, hosting, analytics, customer support, and similar functions, bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
• Legal and compliance — where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Versatile India, our Merchants, or others.

We retain account, merchant, and customer data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize data that we are no longer required to retain, subject to backup cycles and any applicable legal retention requirements.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data processed through the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
